    Valentine's Day

We all hope everyone had a fun and safe Valentine's Day yesterday.  2/14 is National Condom Awareness Day and this morning on ABC's "Good Morning America," Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin spoke about their joined effort to fight AIDS. They are working with M.A.C. Cosmetic's Viva Glam Campaign

    Here's the video:

    Random Acts of Kindness

This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week sponsored by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation.  We all have busy schedules but take some time out to help someone out.  Whether it’s a close friend, a family member, or a stranger, it won’t go unnoticed. Here are some ideas:
    Offer free babysitting
Hold open a door (I have noticed the UMASS Boston students are very good at this J)
Donate used books or clothes you don’t wear anymore
    Help a classmate with homework
Give a care package to a homeless person
    Visit a nursing home

There’s so many ways to show kindness to others! For more information check out:

"I think what’s important for kids to know is that your decisions here on earth matter, your behavior matters and how you treat other people matters."
